Staying positive, especially in the last year or so, can be incredibly challenging. Personally, I am a bit of a pessimistic person, so I find it incredibly difficult to see ‘the brighter side of things.’
When you have a harder time seeing positives, it is important to surround yourself with positivity however you can. That’s not to say that you should feel positive all the time. You are certainly welcome to feel negative as much as you like. However, that’s not an ideal state of mind or life.
Surrounding yourself with positivity is going to mean different things for different people. For some, positivity might mean taking time in the morning to breathe, stretch, or enjoy their coffee. For others, positivity might mean exercise or fresh air. Really, it’s making an adamant point of including the things that make you happy in your life regularly.
One particular way I like to surround myself with positivity is making a point of taking an epsom salt bath at least once a week. Sometimes I’ll use a bath bomb and I will always put on a show or podcast to destress and forget about the outside world for a bit. This is something that not only helps me physically, as epsom salt can prevent soreness when working out or being super active, but it also helps me mentally to take that time to just chill.
How can you surround yourself with positivity today?
