Take Time Off

In this generation and arguably the generation before it, success has been synonymous with overworking. It has been unofficially established that the more you work (and subsequently overwork), the more successful you are. In recent years, especially during the pandemic, I think many of us have proven this to be wrong. We are now working part time, from home and doing just as well, if not better.

It is so important to take time off and take care of yourself to prevent burnout! I know personally just how hard it can be to mentally accept taking time off and how it is so tempting to just check your email really quick or answer that text. However, doing those ‘little’ things is only going to hurt you in the long run.

If you are not able to take time off, I recommend scheduling a day or even a morning or evening off where you can just take an hour or two to relax and just not worry about being anywhere or doing anything.
